hi all, first off sorry for being a bit new to all this, but here is my question.

I have recently begun building a pc for the first time, but have run into a snag already.
I have decided on the p5k asus mobo but am unable to use the some old ddr2 ram i had that is 533 the pc just will not boot at all do i need a higher ram, i thought that any ddr2 ram would work.

You cannot use ddr2 533 MHz memory

You need DDR2 1066/800/667 MHz memory
