mobo idenifing

Can any one help, please.I am having trouble locating the bios update for a mobo,that i cant trace,in the boot screen i get this string
12/18/2000 8363-686A-6A6LMJ19C-00 at the bottom of the page and at the top-Award bios V663AS/663ASPRO A05..any help please in locating the bios update.

Try downloading something called AIDA. It will tell you everything you want to know about your system

This shud include MOBO manufacturer. Alternatively you can open the PC up and see if you can find it printed on the mobo

its I believe a LEX / JETWAY board lex has Bios updates at click here I think Jetways = click here ..but not entirely sure of last one however click here would lead you there .if you sign up..

Make sure you down load the ami bios flash utility and read all its notes before proceeding with updating the bios .The mobo manual has details Of flashing bios routine on P49 but it is a general guide so refer to readme files on download site (they are more upto-date)too.
