Mobo audio driver needed

I have just reloaded XP Pro SP2 onto my PC and allis OK except there is no audio, Checking device manager confirms that there is no audio driver installed and I am struggling to find one. The mobo has N1996 printed on it and I beleive this is a MSI mobo. The system is a mediom .

Look for the name on chips on the MOBO like SIS INTEL VIA etc.
As I take it you have onboard Sound. I think you will more than likely have Via on a Msi
