Mobile or standard processor in a notebook?

HELP! I have recently fallen off a ladder and broken my ankle, which means I will be immobile with my foot elevated for at least 8 weeks. I can afford to spend around £1,200 on a notebook but am unsure what to buy. Has anyone got the Multivision Ionics or Vision Pro? Should I go for a mobile or standard processor and should it be AMD or P4?

a mobile proscessor is lighter than standered also it should be a p4 because my dads is a sony with a p4 mobile and it is the same of a p4
