Mixing RAM

I have some 1 GB of DDR PC3200 200 MHz RAM in my PC, and also a couple of spare RAM sticks I'd like to add.

One of these is a Corsair PC3200 (VM512MB400) and the other is a Kingston DDR PC2700 333 MHz (KVR333X64C25/512) stick.

Can I add either or both of these to my motherboard - an Asus A8V-E Deluxe?

Have you checked the Asus website for details of what RAM is supported by your motherboard?
If you check whether the Corsair and the Kingston memory is the same parity etc as the Ram you have you should find whether it will work or not. Bear in mind though that if your computer runs at PC3200 speeds and you put in a PC2700 chip it will slow it down to PC2700 speed.

It should work but as T-b states they will all run at the slower PC2700 speed.

I've different brand PC3200 RAM with differing CAS latencies but they happily run in dual-channel mode - Gigabyte motherboard though, so as T-b suggests check the manual/website for details. G
