Mitsubishi monitor/default monitor on startup

I have just taken delivery of a new Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 750 SB, and have installed the CD that came with it.

My problem is that when I start Windows ME, I get the message 'New Hardware Found' and a new default monitor is installed.

Looking at Control Panel/System/Device Manasger it shows both monitors ie Mitsubishi and Default. If I remove the default, it just comes back at startup..

Anyone help

Uninstall both, restart your pc and let windows pick it up as a plug a play monitor, your graphics card drivers the monitor controls are all that you need to adjust the screen to your hearts delight.
