Missing XP Explorer Quick Link Bar- please help!

I'm having a problem with a certain part of my Windows Explorer interface in Windows XP. Up until about ten minutes ago, it was working fine, but I was editing settings trying to get it to show hidden files and folders, and somehow I removed the bar/toolbar/panel thing on the left that provides quick links to My Documents, My Pictures, etc. I've provided this rudimentary little graphic of exactly what's missing from a screen shot of Explorer I found on another website:

In short, I really want a way to get that bar back. It's a major part of how easy it is to use Windows for me. If anyone knows the setting or menu to bring it back, I'd love to know.

Go to Control Panel - Folder Options - click Show Common Tasks in Folders - click Apply and OK

That fixed it. You're a lifesaver.
