Having installed a number of small pieces of software for evaluatiion I now am unable to remove them from my P.C. When I attempt to uninstall a program that does not come with it's own uninstaller I get a message telling me that 'Install.log not found' and aborts the process......any suggestions as I do not want to hold on to unnecessary software but would like to be able to try programs out without cramming my P.C with stuff....

try this ...go to start/search..put the name of the program in the del all files related to the prog..then re boot..then go to start/run type in regedit and WITH CARE look through all the files in there delete any you know you NO LONGER need

I hope this helps tc PAT
