missing trident.dll

After bootup missing trident.dll box appears on screen. PC appears to work without it. But have downloaded a trident.dll- is it OK just to put trident.dll into windows system folder and will that sort it? NB this happened on the PC that was not suffering from qube installation - suddenly discovered new hardware and did driver database search [or similar].
