Have you tried clicking on View then Toolbars?

Try View; Toolbars; and make sure "Standard" and "Formatting" are ticked.

Alt-v for the view menu.

I have managed to put one toolbar behind the other in the past. But the menu bar?? Perhaps if you can get a toolbar back and then drag it down something may appear.

This is usually a damaged data key in the Registry and is covered in the link supplied above by LastChip.

Right click on the Toolbar area if Standard and Formatting are enabled and then choose Customise - select menu bar and then Commands to add what you require.

In Help you will also find a Detect and Repair facility.

By the way, are you sure that the Toolbar has not merely disappeared at the top of the screen because the page setting is too deep?
