It is me again with problems related to these previous ones:

I have copied the boot up image of an old hard drive on a new hard drive. But when I use the new HD to boot up my computer I get this message:

Windows couldn’t start because the following file is missing or corrupted:
windows root>system32\hal.dll.
Please re-instal a copy of the above file.

Please help me how can I do that. Previously I have done this copying business successfully.

I would like to report the following experience for the benefits of every one. On my old computer, 2.8Hz intel pendium and p4vm890 m’board, win xp cd inside ide cd drive couldn’t recognize sata HD. But recognized it inside sata cd drive.

Problem solved. I re-recorded boot up image from old boot up HD to the new one. This time recordings completed correctly without missing any files.
