missing or corrupt file

i have Win XP Home on my other computer but when every i try to boot it up i get the error message windows Root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt please reinstall the file.
i do not have a windows disk as the system files are in a hidden drive kept on the computer so i cant do anything any help would be appreciated

right i followed the link did what was said but now i get an error unmountable boot volume so i is stuck again
