Missing MSI Mainboard Drivers

  toogie 08:47 11 May 10

Recently replaced hard drive. Have loaded all drivers/software that I had and required or so I thought! Some problems with audio and my system (XP) not recognising my Maxtor External Drive as well as pop up messages about the USB not being speed ports? Remembered that I had a replacement Motherboard fitted some time back (MS-6712 (v1.X) ATX Mainboard).
I went on internet to MSI site but got no joy with downloading what was required. Then searched for other sources and "Driver Fetch" diagnosis appears to identify missing drivers that would probably account for my problems.
Can anyone vouch for the usefullness of this site or suggest alternative options, before I spend my cash! $29. If it works it would be well worth the money!

You could try Driver Max free.
The free version will only update 2 drivers a day but at least you can see what drivers are needed and you can go to the proper websites and install them from there if you wish.

buteman I went to this site again, as I had tried it yesterday, and after loading an active x, as instructed, there was some progress and suddenly the pc shut down and rebooted. A message then appeared saying that the system had recovered from a serious error. Is this suspicious and how do I progress with this site to get my drivers?
