  goodyearmark 11:34 09 Dec 04

When I start my computer or change user the following error message appears :

the specific module could not be found

If I just delete the warning everything carries on with no apparent problems but it is very anoying.

I am using XP Home with SP2 installed and AVG anti Virus installed and uptodate

Hope someone can help. It is driving me mad

I think its is part of a virus that AVG has probably got rid of. you need to check your start up programs and remove what you don't recognise. Winpatrol can help you with that and stop programs from installing themselves at start up.

Startup Managers:-

Post a list here if unsure.

Thanks it looks like you are right. Lots of things running at start up.

Not sure which to remove or disable.
How do I post the list as you asked
