missing link?

I am having trouble opening .pdf files from the web. When I click on them, I just get a blank page with a little coloured square in the top left corner, but when I right click and 'save target as' then I can download the document, save it and read it in Acrobat. This isn't a major problem as I have broadband so the download takes seconds, but it is a bit of a pain keep having to do it like that. Any suggestions?

many thanks

do you have Adobe acrobat reader on your PC?

And if so, do you have the web-browser settings ticked?

If not, open acrobat, select edit, choose preferences. opens new window

Click options in left box - tick all the web-browser options.

check for an update too whilst you're at it :)

If you don't have it click here

When you installed Acrobat did you install the full package?

thanks for the help, I just re-installed Acrobat and it seems to work now. Just out of interest, all of the options in web-browser were already ticked, so maybe I hadn't installed the full package earlier.
