Missing icons in "save as" and "open" window/box

Windows XP SP1.

For some unknown reason when i go to save or open a document or a webpage (webpage was just to test)

The "Save As" or the "open" box appears and the icons down the left hand side have disappeared.

From memory "My computer", "My Documents" and few other icons were there.

But they have now gone.

I can find the files and save the files i want by the drop down in "Save in".

But the icons down the left were handy. Anyone know how to put them back there?

(tried a search on this but i was lacking keywords)

Nevermind, solved it.

I was tweaking with powertoys ;-)

For the future...

In powertoys > Explorer > Common Dialogs > Places Bar > "Show Default Places".

I had "Cutom Places Bar" selected where you can choose what icons you want down that left hand side. I had all 5 on "none" - Explains the missing icons.

Do you mean 'send to'? You can find this in the Windows directory. Open the folder and add a 'send to'.
