Missing hide/show icon on notification area!!!!

Hi again peeps,im missing the above icon on notification area,its set up to hide inactive icons on properties but theres no icon!!! My own user account is ok its only the second user account this is happening on, both accounts set up the same way,second account is administrator aswell anyone got any ideas on the subject many thanks for any help.Im running xp home edd.

Yeah thats the one VoG any ideas how to get it back even though properties says its there hiding unused icons it isnt!!!

Try right click on Taskbar, Properties.

Taskbar tab, Customize button. Check that all programs are not set to "Always show".

FIBREMAN, not too sure, but think the chevron only shows if there are Icons that are hiding, either always or when not in use.

Try right click on taskbar and choose properties, then "Customise". Click on one of the items and a drop down menu will appear giving three choices. 1) always show. 2) always hide. 3) Hide when inactive.

Set one or more of them to Hide when inactive and the chevron should then show on the taskbar. you may need to wait for a while for it to appear though.
