Re-installed XP few days ago, During process, received error message that a file was missing/corrupt etc, twice. Continued each time. The files were kodak_dc.icn and ndis.sys.

I would appreciate advice on what's to be expected, and how to correct the situation.

Type

sfc /scannow

in the run box press enter and sit back while XP replaces missing/ corrupt files It will take awhile and you will need the CD in the Drive.

Thanks, FruitBat,

I've copied that into my Recovery Notes for next time.
