A friend of mine has occured a problem on his machine.

While surfing the net he clicked on a pop up to load a program called 'Memory Blaster' and then when he tried to remove through 'Add/Remove programmes' his machine has crashed and would not boot.

He then tried to reload XP but it only gets as far as saying "34 mins to go" machine then stops and he gets the following message "Missing file VIAAGP.SYS>on VIA AGP, go to Settings/Temp/PFT?

Any ideas. This program he downloaded was obviously very sinister
