missing DLL files

Hi there. After recently recovering from a virus my pc has been behaving strangely. When i try and run Windows update or media player it gives me a message saying the file is linked to the missing export file KERNEL32.DLL. Can anyone help me out with this?

KERNEL32.DLL is click here i dont think this can be missing otherwise you can not run windows.um i think.may be wrong.

may be spyware.

try downloading, updating and running both spybot and adaware click here click here remove anything they find.

Hi, I run Win98 SE and my KERNEL32.DLL is in C:\Windows\ System.
Check and see if yours is still there.
