On start up I get an error message in a box with the title of this box saying 'error starting program' and then it goes on to say that 'a required .dll file QDCSPI.DLL was not found'. This is an Win 98SE computer after having loaded Acrobat Viewer 6 and the new NTL Dialler software. I can click on ok and the computer boots up fine. I cannot find the dll in Start\find.

Gary Bee,

I know this file is part of the Norton Cleansweep utility.

I,m not very sure what other programs use it though.

If you have Cleansweep, an uninstall and reinstall should solve this problem.

I will uninstall and see if it cures the message. By the way I am using Norton 2004 Systemworks.

Thanx everyone. I uninstalled Norton and reinstalled it as suggested. All fixed!
