I have tried to load some software and a error message comes up reading > A required .DLLfile, SLASH.DLL, was not found.
I know that this file exists on my C: drive when activating a search it was found.
Can anyone help with this problem?

Many Thanks

Steve-H

It sounds like something is saying it is not there,

try draging and dropping it into regsvr32

I have heard of a website that supplies you with any dll that is known to the computer world. Search from a decent search engine and good luck.

You could try reloading it from click here if Gaz 25 option doesn't work

The above link contains most dll files.

regsvr32.exe is in the system32 folder of windows folder.

Just open one window that has the dll in it and then another window with regsvr32.exe in it, then drag the dll and drop it on the regsvr32.exe file, it will then register the dll and windows will know where to look for it.

P/N: It will just appear as though nothing has happened but it has.

Or download from click here and you must register it using regsvr32.exe before windows will know it is there.

It sounds then like a corrupt file.

Where is the file on the CD-ROM or the HDD.

Can you find a copy of the file?
