Missing Arrow in Task-bar

Switched on the PC this morning and found that the arrow in the task-bar is missing. i.e. show/hide inactive icons. Have checked the properties and the box is ticked for Hide inactive icons.

Is there anything else I need to check.

Thanks

Hi jimmer409.

Just tried your answer, unfortunately still no arrow.

Everything was ok last night when I switched off.

The arrow only appears when it is needed depending on how many icons there are in the system tray.

To get the little arrow (chevron) back on your system tray, try right clicking the taskbar>Properties>Customize. Set the first item to "Always hide". If the arrow doesn't immediately appear, try rebooting.
