Does anyone know of a minidisc recorder that will work with a PC.
I need to record and edit backing music for playback in any minidisc player.

Using the headphone socket on any mindisc device, and attaching it to the line in socket on your pc will allow the device to output to the pc.

As for the recording side of things, using the Mic input on your pc should enable that to work to. You would of course need editing software which I assume you already have.

I use a Sony, can't remember the model offhand (not at home at the moment) but it comes with it's own fairly comprehensive softwarse.

The Sony walkman MiniDisc player recorder I have came with MD burner(sony) and Sonic Stage which you can download from Sonics, These progs also enable recording from/to CD without using PC store. I would like to know how I get a digital signal down the glass fibre lead from MD to PC, is there an optical to usb adapter available?
