I recently purchased a 4GB MINI SD for my MP4 player, and slotted it into the slot for the card. However, when I connect the MP4 to the computer, although the computer recognises the card, it is telling me that it is 108KB only. I have clicked format however this makes no difference.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Does the MP4 player show the size of the card? If it does, what does it say?

It does - it shows 0/0MB

Hmm, I would ask for a replacement from where ever you bought it.

It does - it shows 0/0MB

My knowledge of technology is limited, but I think the reason it shows 0MB even in the MP4 is because I formatted it to file type FAT, and need to format it to FAT32, which I do not know how to do

click here this may, or may not, work - but I guess it is worth a try, 'cos I don't see what else you can do.

Unless any one else has a suggestion?

Thanks for the link, but my computer is an XP and I can't find the Drive Convertor (FAT32)

Can't you just put it in a card reader and select format fat 32

Right click icon in my computer select format then fat 32 from the drop down menu.

Unfortunately when clickign format, fat32 is not appearing in te drop down menu
