Bought a job lot of mini PCI wireless cards on Ebay(sold as working). Tried to fit a Broadcom BCM 94309mp one in my Dell latitude C510 lappy. Eventually found the driver (I think) on driverguide.com ,but I can't get it to work. Then tried an Atheros AR5BMB .. same result. Are these cards designed for a particular manufacturer?.The only driver I could find for the Atheros was for IBM or TOSHIBA.

How can you fit them into a Laptop? as they look like just a small PCI card

beleive me there is a place for them on the underside of a C510 or any C series latitude

I changed the card on my Samsung Netbook for a Broadcom one. Took ages to find a driver, but now works a treat.
