Migration of ASDL service

Anyone know what happens when you do this.
I was told the new server gets in touch with the old and then takes over from them ,hopefully on the same day as they disconnect from the old.

I am asking because I don’t want to still be charged by the old providers and the new.

Yes, your correct. First off you will need to get your release number from your current ISP. Tell them you wish to migrate, not Cancel! Then contact your new ISP give them the details of your release number and ISP and they [New ISP] will do it all for you. j
