Midi Tower Case problem

  pprbh 20:51 30 Dec 05

I bought a JeanTech G-Max midi tower case (click here) for christmas and set it up yesterday.

Its been working fine but after switching off the PC (now on standby, still plugged in at mains), the PC comes back on by itself as if someone pressed the start button. Jeantech arn't available till Monday.

I've tried reassembly but same problem. Anyone have this case or had this problem? Is it my DIY or could it be the case?

Check BIOS for Starting with Lan or ring something on those lines and disable it as BIOS is starting the computer

Thanks for the advice woodchip.

I disabled a PME in the power management settings option of the BIOS.

This function has a wake up feature that appears to start the PC (by default) and having disabled that, the PC seems fine now.

Much appreciated.
