Microsoft Word - Page margins not showing

I used to run Word 2000 on Windows 98, and had no problems with page margins. I am now running Word 2000 on Windows XP, having imported the documents from OpenOffice, but despite using the HELP advice in Word, am now quite unable to get page margins to show on the relevant page. The position of the margins is shown on the rulers, but not on the page being edited.

Any advice please.

Tools | Options, View tab. Tick Text Boundaries.

Hesitant to ever add anything to VoG™ 's advice...... but if it is page boundaries you want to show, try View > Print layout. My excuse for such 'daring' is that I too am running Word 2000 though under Windows 2000 not XP

Thanks to you both. Easy when you know how!
