Microsoft Sindwinder

I have a Microsoft Sindwinder installed on my laptop which uses Windows XP Home Edition. It is recognised in Device Manager and through Games Devices and calibrates fine.

I have two games I like playing, but when I load the games they only recognise the keyboard and mouse as controllers, what am I doing wrong ?

Have you looked in Control Panel>Game controllers> Properties.
Might be something of help there.
Option ( I think) to add a game to the sidewinder there.

Sorry--didn't read your thread properly.

Perhaps you are not doing anything wrong - some games do not allow for use of a Joystick.

The games I am having problems with are Brothers in Arms and Battlestations Midway, any ideas if these should be compatible with the Sidewinder ?

Neither of these are Sidewinder compatible.
