Hi all

I know scurity questions figure quite often on here but need some advice about Micr Sec Essentials in particular,
Is this a complete protection suite? (as Ive seen stated while browsing the internet)
A relative is looking for free protection and I thought this might be the answer.
Thanks

Yes

if they have Vista or windows 7 use MSE and windows own firewall for realtime protection.

As nothing provides 100% protection they can back it up with Spywareblaster as a blocker and Malwarebytes / SuperAntispyware as a weekly (or how often you like) to double check if anything has got through.

Thanks all

Nice to have info before we proceed.

Remove any previous security FIRST, before installing MSE. Use the vendors own cleanup tool, do not rely on just uninstalling via control panel.
