Microsoft Outlook on a Home Network

I want to be able to access my email from any computer on my network. My main desktop PC will have the Outlook PST file on and I am then planning to link Microsoft Outlook on my other machines into the PST file on my main desktop PC.

Firstly, what would happen when I open Outlook on my other PCs when they are not connected to the network, secondly, what would happen if I opened Outlook on two PCs at the same time and thirdly, is there a better way of doing it?!?!?!?!?

By the way, I have a wireless network with two PCs and one laptop connected to it.
