Microsoft Office Plug-IN

Hello all,

I recently installed Microsoft Office 2000 on my Wife's PC. On boot up Office kept installing two Toolbars on the right hand side of the desktop.

I overcame this by removing the link to Office Plug-In on Programs. Unfortunately on boot-up Office still comes up with 2 boxes asking if we wish to install the toolbars.

Another thing I did was to remove the support for Microsoft Office Plug-In on Miscellaneous on Norton Anti Virus.

Anybody know how I can stop this reference to Office Plug-In appearing please ?

See if the feature can be uninstalled from your Office 2000 CD.

Is this what you are referring to? If so you should right-click to close it, and when it asks if you want it to load on start-up, say no.
