I reinstalled windows media center on my old PC and now when try to install audio drivers that I downloaded from the HP site, I get a message say install microsoft audio bus driver first. I've gone thru the microsoft link on this and installed the relevant audio bus drivers but I still get the same msg about the drivers. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks

Occasionally, when 'rebuilding' PCs in the past, they have been very choosy about the order in which you load drivers - especially Microsoft drivers. It could be your problem would be fixed by starting again with the reinstall, and installing the MS audio bus driver first.

Thanks, I'll try that soon and let you know
