I don't know - Debe - I am looking for a 4GB microSD card for my friend's e-book.I will be watching your post with interest.

No, SD and SDHC although physically the same size are NOT the same. They operate on different Protocols, though I do not know the intricate details.

SD can have a capacity of up to 4GB, SDHC are normally from 4GB up to 32GB.

PS - I meant to say 'Micro' in both cases, just to save confusion.

"SD" = SD 1.0, "SDHC" = SD 2.0

SD 2.0 devices can use both types of card,

SD 1.0 devices may be limited to 1.0 cards.

Thank- you, so if it is SD 2.0 compatible, it will work with sdhc? (Just to be sure!) :)

yes it'll work as SD 2.0 and SDHC are different names for the same thing.

you could describe them as a "technical" name and a "common" name.

another example would be USB 2.0 which is also called Hi-Speed USB
