the 'messenger service' anoying spam things

hi, im sure someone else has had this. adverts that have messenger service as the title?? they pop up in a new window.


ive just reformatted my laptop hard drive and have not had this before so does anyone know the best way too get rid off it??
my bro in law told me too try adaware but that didnt work.

Sounds like Windows Messager as opposed to MSN Messenger.

The best bet would be to disable Windows Messenger. You should be able to do this through Add/Remove Programs.
