While I'm on the net keep getting Messages from Janita every 5 mins or so. how can I stop getting these invites to visit their web sites

Have you shot the messenger???

A few programmes that plug up security flaws on the weblink that may be of use. I routinely run them when setting up pcs with no problems.

Do you actually use/need MSN Messenger ?

There is a program called Shoot The Messenger which will disable it and stop these annoying pop-ups.

go to start>control panel>Performance and Maintenance>Administrative Tools

Now double click services

Look down the list for messenger, double click that and under the general tab, you will see "startup type", select from the drop down box "disabled".

Now click apply and then ok and you wont get that box again
