Hi sometime ago you responded to a thread I put up about getting a "click here" from a previous thread. I have just had occasion to use it but it didn't work for me. Can you explain it to me again. You said bring up the thread and highlight the address and then copy and paste. what do you class as the address. Is it the yellow bar or the title?

I tried both but all I got was the actual words and not "click here"

Thanks Pete

http:// click here with a space, or click here without spaces.

It is the address bar you copy from.

Just Right click on the BLUE thread title and select Copy Shortcut.

http:// www

sorry missed a space :-(

Just hover your mouse over any 'click here' and you'll see what an address is.

Sorry Guys, I don't have a blue thread title.
I have a yellow bar with the thread name in it and underneath that a "Title" bar with my ID in it. Maybe I am as thick as I thought I was?

leo49, yes I understand that but I want to refer someone to look at a previous thread. Like if it was a web site one just types in the www bit and it automatically comes up with "click here" when it is posted.

Click on Helproom at the top of the page. You will then see a lost of postings with their titles in blue .... and off you go?

If you open up a previous thread, highlight the address bar at the top of the window eg: http:// www
right click copy and then paste it into the new post.
