Re your advice for deleting cookies I have tried
it and there is no "delete cookies button" only
a temp int files button. I dont know if it makes any difference that I use Win ME. I should have mentioned that in my original posting.Regards, Meshuga.

Good morning,

Have a look at this. Little prog takes care of all your cookie handling, also orphaned files, broken links and temp files etc.

It's free, does the job quickly and easily and has been working well with my Win Me for over a year now.

Hi, Meshuga, sorry for the delay in answering, the missus nabbed the computer to type a few letters. Don't ya just luv 'em?

It's strange you don't have the delete cookies in ME, I'm sure it was in 95, it certainly was in 98 and it's there in XP, most Weird. But as I've never used ME, I can't think where it might be. I assumed it was part of IE rather than of ME. In the absense of an ME USER confirming that it is indeed missing from ME, I would try a repair of IE.
