Have audio system (1994) that plays vinyl, cassette, CD, radio & is capable of surround sound.
In same room have analogue TV (1994), Sky+ (including radio)and VHS recorder.
Upstairs have internet-ready computer (2001) which can accept CD, DVD, radio, games plus surround sound.

I want to consolidate so is it better to play music (vinyl, cassette, CD & radio) through hi-fi, TV or computer ?

What about for DVD & games ?

Is it worth putting TV through computer ?

Am happy to upgrade (eg digital TV, VHS/DVD combi, internal DVD recorder drive,
TV in/out graphics card etc) but not to duplicate.

Are there restrictions for things like loss of signal distance ?

Please advise.
