Memory upgrade help

  Red Flag 22:43 07 May 03

I would like to add another module(?) of memory to my machine but I'm having a bit of trouble identifying the right one.

At the moment I have two modules of crucial's finest 256mb PC2100 DDR CL2.5 ECC memory (part number CT32727Y265). I would like to add a 512mb module to double my memory but can't work out which is the right one.

I think it part number CT6472Z265 that I need but would appreciate any guidance.

I've tried that but it gives three different options for 512mb modules. I assume I need to match everything up the same as my existing modules (CL2.5 ECC etc).

Crucial are always very helpful. If you want to be absolutely certain, 'phone them -it's free.

Call Centre Hours

Freephone: 0800 013 0330

Monday-Friday: 8:30- 7:30
Saturday: 8:30-5:30

Phone them up - you will be surprised at how helpful staff at Crucial are.

I made a mistake with my order, phoned them at 7.20PM got through almost straight away and the problem was corected there and then. Corrected order arrived exactly when they said it would.

Having seen all these threads where we are complaining about poor service, Its nice to be able to give someone a pat on the back and Crucial certainly deserve one.
