Can you put pc100/133 memory in a motherboard with a 66mhz bus?

Yes but it will work at the slower 66 speed. however dont be surprised if you do get a conflict, but all in all you shud be okay. There isn't really any point in buying the 100 or 133 really. You'll save a littl bit of money if you get 66.

Thanks for getting back so promptly. It seems that pc100 ram is cheaper than pc66 (at the crucial site). Have you any suggestions as to where I can pick some up really cheap as I am only upgrading my fathers 3rd user pc (it only has 2 dimm slots and ix64mb dimm in it already).

In my little expereince 66 wont work with the newer 100/133 so use caution.

have a look at this site click here good site, does all the searching for you. has about 20 companies listed and compaires and lists prices. would suggest that if you upgrade the memory, not to mix the two types together. have had pc100 and pc133 mixed running ok but have never tried them mixed with pc66

Thank you all for your advice - I think I'll either buy some pc66 or just use pc100.
