memory stick security

Is there a way to password-protect data on a memory stick?

Computers used are both XP pro.

I do use a stick to store personal data that I access during lunchbreak at work, and I do not want a colleague reading data while I am away from my desk.

I cannot carry the stick around with me all the time while I am at work.
