Memory Stick problems

For some reason I cannot move a picture from my desktop to my memory stick. Have tried dragging it and have also tried right clicking and 'send to'. Getting the following message:

Tried opening up in 'paint' then going to edit, save as, save in and got the following message when trying to save it in 'J'

Assuming that your memory stick is USB, and that 'J' is its drive letter, can you simply open or explore 'J' in the normal way? I am guessing that Passport is a picture you have taken as a passport photo ... in which case Passport should have .jpg or similar as part of the name of the picture - Passport.jpg

Also, how did the picture get onto your desktop?

Your first suggestion has worked. The picture on my desktop was a scanned image. Cheers.
