Help...!

I have just been given a memory module of 256 sdram, 133mhz.

My old pc has a 128 sdram 100mhz,

with one being a 133mhz module and the other a 100mhz. Can i use them both together or will i have to substitute one for the other?

Thanks for you help!

You can use both together, but they will both run at 100Mhz.

The usual advice is to put the larger capacity module in the first slot.

I should add, in most cases, running them both together should be fine. Try this. Take the old one out. Put in the new one, and restart computer to see if it runs properly.

If so, and if you want to use the other module as well, put the old one in, and then see if it runs fine.
