Hi folks,

I've got a Compaq Presario SR1619UK pc. At present, it's got one stick of 512MB DDR-SDRAM memory.

I've read that I can upgrade this to a max of 4GB, yet when I look to buy 4 x 1GB of memory, the maximum I can find for this pc is 512MB, which means I can only ugrade to 2GB.

Can anyone advise please?

Do I just buy another 3 x 512MB ? and live with 2GB.

Thanks.....

Thanks folks.

The info & links you've all provided are great.

I'm sure I'll get this resolved this weekend.

Cheers
