I have a 256mb stick of memory in my computer. Is there a program or command I could use to find out the tyoe and speed of the memory?

Also can I have an older memory stick (slower)and a new memory stick (faster) in the same computer and have them run smoothly?

Thanks.

If you run two different types, (faster and slower) your machine will default to the slowest running memory.
