Memory prices on the rise again?

Anyone else noticed a rise in memory prices recently, or does anybody know if we are due for a rise. Crucial have put up their prices a lot over the past 5 days. A stick of 512MB DDR400 went up from £50.99 to £61.99. Even the Samsung memory on Ebuyer went thru the roof, despite the fact they are claiming a "memory meltdown" promotion ! 512 DDR400 Samsung went from "48.99 to £74.99 !!! Insane ! Anyone else notice this or know anything. If we are due for a big rise i'm buying myself a stick now before its too late !

yea my mate was on about that, at ebuyer he said it went up £5 overnight (for crucial 256mb). He said he'd wait a couple of days to see if it goes down....turns out he shouldn't have waited as it's gone up another £5....oh dear!
