Memory Leakage on WIN98

Having loaded from PC Advisors Cover disc the Utility Memory Meter I find that the figure on start up is around 50 and as I look is now sitting at 6. Where can I find more details to fix/identify this problem on WIN98

I assume I must have a program running that is taking up this memory but currently I only have Aol open on a IBM P3 with 256K. Pc doc is not showing any errors, the resource utility is fine and system tools appear ok and I have run all clean up programs.

I was beginning to think it was a problem with the Utility but I do have a problem with loading software for a Digital camera, which indicated a memory problem. Apart from this all else appear to work OK.

It may not be *leakage* as such. Windows is known for not being too good at memory management and RAM needs clearing as you go along to maintain optimum performance. Get Ram Booster from click here

It's fairly self explanatory how to set it up --- and it really does work.

Hope this helps.
