Memory Expansion on MESH Elite 2.4 (July 03)

I've soon learned that you can't get any help from MESH

The existing single 256Mb card, in Slot 1, is labelled MPO 9700 559-02-176 and 256Mb PC 2700 DDR-MEM.

I wish to upgrade using the free slots 2,3 & 4

What upgrade options do I have to take the machine to 512Mb or even 1Gb

What is the maximum memory configuration possible. What are the optimum slot / module positions for such upgrades

Is there any special configuration routine so that my machine uses all the new memory when installed

Thanks for any help

Crucial say you should just have 2 memory slots in your motherboard click here and recommend just using PC2700 ram.

it may be worth using their " scan my system " tool, to double check. click here

What crucial do say, is that your motherboard can support upto 1GB of memory per slot. So in theory, you could have as much as 2Gb in your machine.

" Is there any special configuration routine so that my machine uses all the new memory when installed "

No, it should be plug and pray.
